Meningococcal B Vaccine
Fri 3 Feb 2017The University of Adelaide and SA Health will be conducting a Meningococcal B Vaccine Herd Immunity Study across the state during 2017 and 2018. Wirreanda Secondary School has decided to participate in this important study, which will involve students in Years 10, 11 and 12 during 2017.
Parent and student consent is required for students to participate in this study. Students will be vaccinated with the Meningococcal B vaccine Bexsero® (2 doses) free of charge. In addition, two throat swabs will be collected from participants over the two years.
