Digital Games Challenge
Fri 21 Nov 2014
One of our fantastic Design & Technology teachers, Geoff Evans, recently organised and ran our first Digital Games Challenge. Students who were involved in the competition have been participating in the design and creation of computer games in their Year 10 Digital Technology Course. The Digital Technology Course introduces students to computer programming whilst developing skills in creative design and problem solving.
The challenge was held in our Learning Hub at lunch time on Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th and Friday 14th of November. Twelve students entered games and judging was performed by the student body determining the best game by vote.
The voting was very close, but ultimately 3 places were awarded and the winners of the Challenge were
1st Place Daniel & Nick – Space Boy Experience
2nd Place Jackson – Star Wars Clicker
3rd Place (tie) Sara – Animation Creation & Curtis – Tony Abbott Boss Fight
